I’m a interactive designer and director with over 12 years of web experience.

I am a accomplished graphic designer and creative director with experience in most every communications medium, and with a highly varied roster of clients across industries.

I have applied my visual and technological skills, an appreciation for strong consumer brands, and the ability to complement the efforts of coworkers to achieve high levels of success for clients including: Fox Sports, Speed Vision, Direct TV, Nike, BMW, Hyundai, Perception & Dagger Kayaks, Trek Bicycles, Cloudveil, Troublewear, CD Projects, Eagle Creek Luggage, St. Francis Hospital, DIRECTV, Agfa Healthcare, Macromedia and many others.

For me, design can best be defined as a perfect balance of function, form, color, layout, and words focused on clearly, appropriately and emotionally communicating a desired message. It is this high level of aesthetic appreciation for design ranging from corporate brochures to surfside graffiti that fuels my passion for the full spectrum of graphic design – websites, catalogs, ads, products, apparel, stickers, trade show booths, posters and more.

My work has been awarded a Silver ADDY, an Invision medal in e-commerce, and the Macromedia Site of the Day on multiple occasions. I am expertly skilled in the use of major design and web development software applications. I hold a BFA from the University of Colorado (Boulder).

I cut my teeth in print. It's where every great designer starts. And I still love it — just about as much as I enjoy designing websites. For me it's all organic parts of the whole branding process. I enjoy translating my web designs to print campaigns, catalogues, brochures, fliers and POS. And your brand dollars work harder with a consistent, identifiable look that will be planted in your customers' minds.

I love starting organically with logo design – helping you distill your brand essence through that system of symbols that cues the viewer to an immediate visceral response. I integrate type, color, and graphics to give you a look that mirrors your brand essence. And then I roll it out to an integrated communications platform, providing you the tools for stationary, signage, POS, internal communications, external branding standards, and of course your website.

I’ve worked for, with and against agencies. All in the pursuit of the best damn websites money can buy. Your website is your lifeline to millions of customers. Produced right and people will find you, connect with you, admire you, patronize you, and bookmark you. Done poorly and you’ve squandered a golden marketing opportunity that your competitors surely won’t.

I believe a website must first invite the visitor. They’ve got millions of pages to surf, why stop at yours? The pages should be balanced, pleasing, with a layout that makes it easy to find exactly what they’re looking for – quickly. Or what you want them to look for.

I start with your logo, whether you need or already have one, and build out from there. I create a consistent look throughout the site that I can also translate to print and other branding materials.
